The Summer vibes Tie Down Straps allow you to safely secure your surfboards for transport. The metal buckles are corrosion resistant with a rubberised cover to protect your car, and the straps are made of strong durable nylon.

  • 2.4m (8ft): ideal for 1-2 surfboards
  • 3.6m (12ft): Ideal for 1-4 surfboards / SUPs or larger items like kayaks / rescue boards
  • 4.8m (16ft): Ideal for multiple surfboards / SUPs / kayaks, also long enough for the strap to pass over the cargo, and around and though the doors to connect inside the car for maximum security.

PRO TIP- if your straps hum while driving, take the flat strap and try twisting it a few times 👍🏽

Summer vibes is an independent, Australian-owned surf business run by Branchy. He designs and tests Summer vibes boards and hardware in Gold Coast surf conditions, and helps customers choose their gear personally. We also stock selected products from other brands.

Where are you based, and can I collect my order?

We’re based at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. Eligible order pickup is from our fulfilment warehouse at GC3PL, 14 Hawker Street, Currumbin Waters.

We don’t currently have a walk-in shop, although many stores nationwide stock our gear.

Choose pickup at checkout when offered, then wait for collection confirmation. Contact us to confirm warehouse hours before travelling.

Our boards and hardware are designed and tested on the Gold Coast. We partner with experienced, family-owned manufacturers—specialists in their respective fields, with more than 20 years of surfboard and accessory manufacturing expertise.
