I’ll be honest - I’ve always been someone who sticks with the larger fin brands, but I decided to take a chance on the Summer Vibes Quad Keel fin set in the FG Carbon construction, and I’m so glad I did.
I’ve been running them in my Firewire Machado Volcanic Seaside, and they’ve felt unreal. Compared to the quad set I was previously riding, the slightly more upright template has tightened up the turning radius without taking away the speed and flow that makes the Seaside so much fun. The FG Carbon construction also feels spot on for the waves I surf most, with a nice, stiff flex that provides plenty of drive, hold, and confidence when pushing through turns.
These fins have genuinely exceeded my expectations and have definitely changed my perception of looking beyond the usual big-name brands. I’d be keen to try this construction in some of Summer Vibes’ other templates if the opportunity came up. Based on my experience so far, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving them a go!
i agree with jason , super fun board, ran 6'6 as a quad great , then put big twins in front with stabilizer fin, bingo so responsive fast drivey, surfed it in 2ft then 6 ft, good all round board, i turned 61 this year, feel like a grommet again. thanks summer vibes.

Purchased the 6' discus and I'm very pleased with it.
I've had the opportunity to ride it in a variety of conditions from 2'to6' and found it to be a great board, so versatile and easy to ride.

I was looking for a mid-length to upgrade from my foamie. After chatting with Summer Vibes, they gave me plenty of advice on which board to choose based on my weight, height and skill level. Got the Discus 7'6 and I love it. Caught so many waves on my first day riding it :-) It has the perfect amount of volume for me, easy to paddle and very stable. Highly recommended. I've just spent the last couple of months in Hossegor, France on this board but left it at our place there as we go back every year. So I had to get myself one for Oz too and was really impressed with the service and the speed of delivery of my new board. I would definitely recommend these boards, super easy to catch waves. When my husband had a go on my board in France (he's a good surfer) he had loads of comments on how fast it went!
Just got home and it’s the prettiest thing I’ve ever owned! I cant wait to take her out and learn how to surf!! Easy warehouse pickup and everyone has been incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!!!!
Easy to set up and simply locks into place. Fun for the kids to hang onto and get on and off the JetSki easily.
