How Summer vibes started

I’ve surfed my whole life and spent more than 20 years working across the surf-hardware world with brands including Quiksilver, Billabong, Von Zipper and Roxy. That experience covered product design, marketing and global team management, and taught me what makes good equipment perform in real conditions.

After the pandemic, I teamed up with friends Belly and Matteo at BELL Surf in France and took over local ownership of the surf, skate and hardware licences for the Boardriders group. That chapter ran from 2021 to late 2024 and inspired the next one: creating my own independent brand.

Summer vibes started with a simple idea. I wanted to make approachable, reliable surf gear without inflated big-brand pricing—and stand behind it personally. I design and test Summer vibes boards and hardware in real Gold Coast conditions. If it doesn’t work in the water, it doesn’t belong on the site.

I personally run the business, from product development and packing orders to customer service and local advice. Whether you’re choosing your first board, setting up a grom or upgrading your surf kit, get in touch and I’ll help you work out what suits.

Our range includes surfboards for beginners through to experienced surfers, softboards and foam surfboards for learners, groms, schools and families, and bodyboards for kids and adults. You’ll also find surf hardware and accessories including surfboard fins, leg ropes and leashes, traction pads, board covers and roof-rack pads.

Every Summer vibes product is chosen or developed to make time at the beach easier, safer and more fun. We focus on practical quality, honest value and gear suited to Australian beach breaks, points and everyday coastal adventures.

We also develop custom surfboards, softboards and bodyboards for schools, hire fleets, resorts and surf programs.
