Surfboards — shortboards, fish, mid-lengths, longboards and premium hand-shapes from Bradley, Channel Islands, Arakawa and Jim Banks, built for Snapper, Kirra and the Superbank. Softboards — stable, forgiving foamies from 4' grom boards to 11' gliders; Rainbow Bay is right out front and it's the perfect learning wave. Bodyboards — kids and adult sizes, made for Rainbow Bay's shore dump. Smoothstar surf skates — train your turns on land when it's flat. All hire 100m from Rainbow Bay, minutes from Snapper Rocks, Greenmount and Kirra.

How do I book?
Please check our board options on this page first — every board has photos, sizes and rates — then call, text, WhatsApp, email or message us on 0412 695 505 and we'll lock it in and have your board ready.
Where do I pick up my hire board?
Pickup is at 11 Ward St, Coolangatta QLD 4225 — on the steps next to Switchfoot Cafe. You're 100m (about a minute) from Rainbow Bay and 5 minutes to Snapper Rocks, Greenmount and Kirra.
Can I just walk up without booking?
No — we're not a shop open for walk-ins, so there's nothing to browse in person. Check our board options here, then book by phone, text, WhatsApp, email or message and your board will be ready on the steps when you arrive.
What are your opening hours?
We're open 5am to 6pm, 7 days a week — early enough for dawn patrol, late enough for the arvo session.
How long can I hire a board for?
We offer flexible hire periods including 2-hour, half-day, full-day, weekly and longer-term rentals. Check each product page for the rate that suits your stay.
Do I need experience to hire a board?
Not at all. If you're a beginner, our softboard range is perfect — stable, forgiving and easy to paddle. Rainbow Bay is one of the best learning waves on the Gold Coast. If you're experienced, we have a premium quiver including shapes from Bradley, Channel Islands, Arakawa and Jim Banks.
Do you hire bodyboards and surf skates too?
Yes — we have bodyboards for kids and adults (great for Rainbow Bay) and Smoothstar surf skates for training your turns on land when the waves are flat.
Do you provide leg ropes and wax?
Yes — every hire includes a leg rope and fresh wax so you're ready to paddle out straight away.
