The Summer vibes 5ft Surfboard Leash Leg Rope – White/Lilac is a 5ft leg rope built for grom boards and shortboards up to about 5'6. Finished in white and lilac, matching straight across the Summer vibes range of boards, fins, leashes and traction.

The rule of thumb is a leash about the same length as your board. Too short and the board is too close to you, which can cause a safety issue when diving over the front; too long and it can get tangled and causes too much drag. A 5ft leash is the right call for groms, lighter surfers and anyone on a small board in small waves, and the premium moulded cuff and double swivel keep it comfortable and tangle-free session after session.

What length leash do I need? Pick a leash close to your board length. 5ft and 6ft suit shortboards, 7ft suits fish, mid-lengths and most softboards, 8ft suits mini mals, and 9ft or 10ft suits longboards and gliders.

Is this leash covered by a guarantee? Yes. Any Summer vibes leash that legitimately snaps within 12 months of purchase is replaced. Fin cuts are not covered.

Summer vibes leashes have 12-month cover from the date of purchase. We will replace any Summer vibes leash that legitimately snaps within that period. Fin-cut damage is excluded from this replacement cover. Proof of purchase is required.

Where are you based, and can I collect my order?

We’re based at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. Eligible order pickup is from our fulfilment warehouse at GC3PL, 14 Hawker Street, Currumbin Waters.

We don’t currently have a walk-in shop, although many stores nationwide stock our gear.

Choose pickup at checkout when offered, then wait for collection confirmation. Contact us to confirm warehouse hours before travelling.

Our boards and hardware are designed and tested on the Gold Coast. We partner with experienced, family-owned manufacturers—specialists in their respective fields, with more than 20 years of surfboard and accessory manufacturing expertise.

How do I keep my leash in good condition?

Rinse it in fresh water after use, dry it in the shade and check the cord, cuff, swivels and attachment before each surf. Replace a damaged or overstretched leash.
