The Summer vibes Quad Keel 4-Fin Set – Future Compatible (FG Carbon) is built for surfers who want serious speed, bite and hold, without losing that smooth, flowing keel feel. Designed as a quad keel setup, it blends the drive of a twin keel with extra control and grip from the rear trailers – perfect for fish, hybrid and modern quad surfboards in everyday Aussie conditions.

Featuring a fibreglass + carbon construction, these fins deliver a crisp, responsive flex pattern with plenty of stiffness for power through turns. The carbon reinforcement adds extra snap and drive off the bottom, while the fibreglass base keeps things predictable, stable and locked-in when you're on rail.

This Future Compatible base is made to slot cleanly into Future-style fin boxes, giving a rock-solid fit and excellent energy transfer under your back foot. The template and sizing make this an epic upgrade for Summer vibes Fish surfboards and other performance quads like the Seaside where speed, drive and control matter.

Summer vibes hardware has a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Normal wear, accidental damage and misuse are not manufacturing defects.

Summer vibes is an independent, Australian-owned surf business run by Branchy. He designs and tests Summer vibes boards and hardware in Gold Coast surf conditions, and helps customers choose their gear personally. We also stock selected products from other brands.

Where are you based, and can I collect my order?

We’re based at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. Eligible order pickup is from our fulfilment warehouse at GC3PL, 14 Hawker Street, Currumbin Waters.

We don’t currently have a walk-in shop, although many stores nationwide stock our gear.

Choose pickup at checkout when offered, then wait for collection confirmation. Contact us to confirm warehouse hours before travelling.

Our boards and hardware are designed and tested on the Gold Coast. We partner with experienced, family-owned manufacturers—specialists in their respective fields, with more than 20 years of surfboard and accessory manufacturing expertise.

Exceeded My Expectations!

I’ll be honest - I’ve always been someone who sticks with the larger fin brands, but I decided to take a chance on the Summer Vibes Quad Keel fin set in the FG Carbon construction, and I’m so glad I did.

I’ve been running them in my Firewire Machado Volcanic Seaside, and they’ve felt unreal. Compared to the quad set I was previously riding, the slightly more upright template has tightened up the turning radius without taking away the speed and flow that makes the Seaside so much fun. The FG Carbon construction also feels spot on for the waves I surf most, with a nice, stiff flex that provides plenty of drive, hold, and confidence when pushing through turns.

These fins have genuinely exceeded my expectations and have definitely changed my perception of looking beyond the usual big-name brands. I’d be keen to try this construction in some of Summer Vibes’ other templates if the opportunity came up. Based on my experience so far, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving them a go!
