The Summer vibes Hard Core Discus Softboard – Blue is a mid-length softboard in 6'6" and 7'6" that paddles easily, catches waves early and lights up when the surf has some push.
An epoxy surfboard with a soft EVA deck and rails, and a smooth HDPE slick bottom.
Summer vibes all new SLICK construction adds an HDPE slick bottom to a vacuum-bagged epoxy core for less drag and more speed down the line, while the soft EVA deck keeps it fast, friendly and slick. It is basically an EPS surfboard wrapped in foam on top and slick on the bottom. The Discus mid-length surfboard outline is effortless to turn, the volume makes it an easy paddler, and the Future Compatible thruster boxes take any Summer vibes Future Compatible fin set. Slick bottom so you can fly!

The Summer vibes Hard Core range are all vacuum-bagged epoxy surfboards that are then wrapped in foam, in three unique ways designed to step up as you do. Cush (soft EVA on top and bottom) for fun and safety, ideal for taking some of the bumps out of learning. Slick (soft EVA on top combined with an HDPE slick bottom) designed to cruise and fly. And then the Shell (soft EVA on top and hard plastic ABS bottom) designed to glide and go! Same safe soft deck, very different feel underfoot.

What makes Hard Core different from a normal softboard? The core. Hard Core boards are vacuum-bagged epoxy surfboards wrapped in foam, so they are stiffer, faster and more responsive than a foam blank while keeping a soft deck.
Are fins included? Yes. Fins are included, and the Future Compatible boxes take any Summer vibes premium fibreglass fin set when you want to unlock the true performance.
Which construction should I pick? Cush to learn, Slick to fly, Shell to shred. Shorty is Cush, Discus is Slick and Glider is Shell.
