The Summer vibes Lite Wide / SUP Boardbag Cover – Pink is a wider-cut board cover for the boards a standard bag will not zip around: wide softboards, longboard softboards and SUPs, available in 9'6".

Softboards carry a lot more width and thickness than a hard board of the same length, so we cut this one wide. It is the right cover for our Stable Table, Wider Rider and 9'0 Longboard softboards, and for SUPs and foilboards up to the bag length. Check your board's width and thickness as well as its length when choosing.

Board length

Measure across the widest point.

For travel bags, enter the longest board’s length. Allow room for the combined thickness of your boards and padding.

How do I check the width and shape?

Measure your board across its widest point. Also check nose width, tail width and thickness. Published bag widths describe the cover itself, so a board at that same width may not fit once its thickness is included. For board and travel covers, nose and tail widths are measured 12″ (30.5 cm) in from each end. Send us your board’s measurements if the fit is close.

Fish, Mini Mal, longboard or wide softboard?

Start with the Funboard Board Cover for a Fish, Mini Mal or any wider nose. Choose the Longboard Board Cover for rounder-nose longboards. Bulky 9′ soft longboards need the Wide Softboard / SUP Cover; a standard Longboard cover may match their length but not their volume. The Glider / Gun Board Cover and Nipper Board Bag have their own shapes.

How do I choose a travel bag?

The Multi Board Travel Covers and the Wheely Travel Cover suit shortboards, Fish, mid-lengths and Mini Mals. Measure the longest board. Capacity depends on board thickness and packing.

Will this bag fit my board?

Match both board length and width, plus the nose/tail shape and how many boards you need to carry. A length label alone isn’t a fit guarantee.

Use the fit selector and measurements on this page where available. For wide softboards, thick boards or a multi-board load, send us your board dimensions before ordering.

Is this a day cover or a travel bag?

Compare the padding, opening, capacity and carry features with how you will use the bag. A lightweight day cover is not the same as a padded multi-board travel bag.

Check whether your board fits with its fins installed and allow for any extra boards or gear you plan to carry. Ask us to check your setup if needed.

What warranty comes with this boardbag?

Summer vibes hardware has a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Normal wear, accidental damage and misuse are not manufacturing defects.

Where are you based, and can I collect my order?

We’re based at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. Eligible order pickup is from our fulfilment warehouse at GC3PL, 14 Hawker Street, Currumbin Waters.

We don’t currently have a walk-in shop, although many stores nationwide stock our gear.

Choose pickup at checkout when offered, then wait for collection confirmation. Contact us to confirm warehouse hours before travelling.
