INSPIRING MERMAID ADVENTURES
The Seaside Ave journey started in 2021 making handmade, coastal themed jewelry from shells collected during family camping trips.
It was during a van life trip up the East Coast of Australia in the Summer of 2023 that we discovered our snorkel masks were our most essential beach item, so we created our colorful range to inspire the mermaids to chase their adventures, create new experiences and share the fun.
We are all about beach swimming, ocean exploring, rockpool hunting, shell collecting and sunset chasing. Our priorities revolve around the sun, tide, sand and surf and as we discover new beach essentials, we will endeavor to create and share them with the Seaside Ave community.
keep your gear fresh — a few simple habits
rinse after every surf. fresh water. a 60-second rinse saves gear for years.
dry in the shade, store cool. direct hot sun can delaminate darker boards. keep boards in their cover, flat or on racks — leaning on soft fins can warp them.
check your leash & fins often. look at the swivel, string and plug screws. a tired leash or a loose fin will ruin a good wave and can cost a lot more than a wipeout.
wax it right. base coat first, then top coat in small circles. when it gets grubby, strip it off with a wax comb (or park in the sun for 10 min) and start fresh.
